Functional Skills English: November 2022 series
The Functional Skills English Level 1 and Level 2 exams will be taking place as normal for the November 2022 series. For this series you’ll need to complete a candidate record form and submit audio-visual recordings for your students.
GCSE English Language: spoken language endorsement (8700/C) for November 2022
For the November 2022 series only, the same conditions applied in summer 2022 for the GCSE English Language spoken language endorsement will apply in November 2022.
GCSE English Language: spoken language endorsement (8700/C) for summer 2023
For summer 2023, the usual arrangements for NEA will be in place. This means you’ll need to submit audio-visual recordings of a sample of presentations for the assessment of the GCSE English Language spoken language endorsement.

We need to make two changes to the Paper 2A – World War I and its aftermath component that will be implemented for first teaching from September 2021 and examined in summer 2023: we’re introducing a new post-2000 drama text and My Boy
