Our plans for our Functional Skills qualifications

Our Functional Skills English and Functional Skills Mathematics qualifications will be coming to an end. The last cohort for first teaching will be September 2024.

Functional Skills English: submitting NEA sample files in summer 2024 

For summer 2024 we’ve made changes to the way you submit your non-exam assessment (NEA) coursework samples for Functional Skills English.

Functional Skills English: November 2023 series

For the Functional Skills English Level 1 and Level 2 series, you'll need to complete a candidate record form and submit audio-visual recordings for your students.

Functional Skills English: November 2022 series

The Functional Skills English Level 1 and Level 2 exams will be taking place as normal for the November 2022 series. For this series you’ll need to complete a candidate record form and submit audio-visual recordings for your students.
