The updated 2025 CSP booklet is available on our secure website Centre Services– please make sure you’ve downloaded the latest version.

• Under ‘Qualification’, tick ‘GCSE’
• Under ‘Resource type’, tick ‘Preliminary material’
• Under ‘Specification’, tick ‘8572 Media Studies’
• Under ‘Exam session’, tick ‘June 2025’

Kim Kardashian as an online, social and participatory media product (OSP) will remain and is to be studied for assessment in 2024 and onwards.

This version of the 2025 CSP booklet provides updated, detailed guidance on how to link both Roblox and Kim Kardashian (OSP) to the theoretical framework and the contexts of media.

We’ll also soon be updating the following resources to reflect this change:
