Early Careers Programme: welcoming our first apprentices and graduates
Published: Tuesday 8 Feb 2022
We’re delighted to welcome the first eight apprentices and graduates onto our Early Careers Programme.
This exciting programme, which will grow over the coming years, will help us become more diverse and contribute towards creating a pipeline of future talent.
Our aim to be the UK’s pre-eminent educational assessment organisation is dependent on having outstanding people, so we’re thrilled to welcome our new recruits who bring a huge amount of talent, fresh ideas and energy.
Each apprentice and graduate will work with teams across AQA. Our new apprentices will sit at the heart of our technology and people teams, and our graduates are joining either an Assessment or Business graduate scheme and will rotate around relevant key business areas over the next two years.
Shabnam Shahani, AQA’s Executive Director of Strategy and Business Development, said:
“It gives me great pleasure to welcome on board our new apprentices and graduates and to celebrate such a positive start to our Early Careers Programme.
“They will follow an immersive induction to help them gain a greater understanding of AQA, and they will each be supported by a personal buddy and mentor.
“Our new recruits bring with them a huge diversity of skills, talent and experience and we can’t wait for them to get started.”
