A-level Computer Science: 2024 preliminary materials on Centre Services

The A-level Computer Science (7517) preliminary materials and teacher’s notes for the Paper 1 (7517/1) exam in summer 2024 are available from 1 September 2023 on Centre Services.

You can find the materials following the steps below:

1. Log in to Centre Services
2. Go to 'Resources'
3. Select 'Assessment and training'
4. Click 'Computer Science and IT'
5. Under 'Resource type', select 'Preliminary material'

The preliminary materials (7517/1/PM) can be given to your learners straight away so they can start work on their exam preparations. 

Learners will need to be familiar with the preliminary materials ahead of the summer 2024 exams, taking the time to understand the program, what it is trying to achieve, and how it does this.
