In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed

1	discuss the meaning of the term 'volunteering'	Summary sheet
2	arrive punctually at the volunteering placement on at least four occasions	Summary sheet
3	carry out given instructions whilst on the placement	Summary sheet
4	work without close supervision on at least two appropriate allocated tasks whilst on the placement	Summary sheet
5	play an active part in planning and evaluation meetings at the start and end of each session	Summary sheet
6	evaluate own performance whilst on the placement	Summary sheet
shown knowledge of
7	at least three difficulties which may be experienced by some of the children or young people at the placement, eg friendship problems, bullying	Student completed work
8	at least three ways in which the staff at the placement deal with the difficulties experienced by the children.	Student completed work
