In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	set up a stand on which to place a manikin head	Summary sheet
2	place a manikin head on a clamp	Summary sheet
3	prepare a trolley with appropriate rollers and tools, eg comb, brush	Summary sheet
4	set the manikin's hair using either the directional or brick method	Summary sheet
5	remove the rollers from the manikin head without causing them to be tangled	Summary sheet
6	back brush hair using a back brushing brush	Summary sheet
7	use curling tongs to help maintain curl at ends of the hair	Summary sheet
8	apply a suitable finishing product, eg gel spray, hairspray	Summary sheet
9	adhere to health and safety procedures throughout the service.	Summary sheet
