In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed

1	locate and name the British Isles on maps of Europe and the World	Student completed work
2	locate and name on a given map at least three seas and three islands around the British Isles	Student completed work
3	locate and name on given maps specified physical features, ie. at least five rivers, five mountain ranges and three lowland regions	Student completed work
4	locate and name on given maps specified human features, ie at least ten towns or cities, three major airports, five ports and five motorways	Student completed work
5	locate and name on a given map at least five counties of England	Student completed work
6	locate and name on a map of a given county, at least three major roads, two main rivers, a city and three other major towns, two major industries in or near the named city and the names of the counties which border the county.	Student completed work
