1	select a motor vehicle workshop area suitable to remove and replace a suspension damper	Summary sheet
2	collect various tools and equipment from the storage area including a socket set and suspension clamp rings	Summary sheet
3	raise the vehicle safely as required depending upon the vehicle make and model	Summary sheet
4	remove the damper or damper unit	Summary sheet
5	replace the damper and contain the spring safely as required seeking assistance if necessary if the damper forms part of a unit	Summary sheet
6	reassemble the unit	Summary sheet
7	refit the damper to the motor vehicle	Summary sheet
8	lower the vehicle to the ground as required	Summary sheet
9	check for security and operation by using the bounce test	Summary sheet
10	return the tools and equipment to the storage area	Summary sheet
