1	select a motor vehicle workshop area suitable for checking the drive shafts of a motor vehicle for wear security and boot or gaiter condition	Summary sheet
2	collect various tools and equipment from a storage area including a socket set a strong arm an air gun sockets spanners circlip pliers a hammer and a ball joint splitter	Summary sheet
3	raise a motor vehicle from the ground either on jacks amd stands or on a vehicle lift	Summary sheet
4	identify the vehicles drive shaft	Summary sheet
5	check all propeller or drive shaft joints for wear	Summary sheet
6	check all propeller or drive shaft joints for corrosion	Summary sheet
7	check all propeller or drive shaft joints for security	Summary sheet
8	check all joints have adequate lubrication	Summary sheet
9	replenish lubrication as and if required	Summary sheet
10	check all boots or gaiters for possible damage and/or leaks	Summary sheet
11	return the tools and equipment to the storage area	Summary sheet
