In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	respond to kitchen health, safety and hygiene rules in preparation for a cooking activity, ie wash hands, put on an apron, tie hair back	Summary sheet
2	give visual and auditory attention to a simple verbal description of a chosen recipe aided by a sequence of pictures with symbol supported text	Summary sheet
3	give visual and auditory attenion to a demonstration of the cooking equipment and utensils required for the activity	Summary sheet
4	match pictures/symbols to real ingredients	Summary sheet
5	measure the ingredients correctly as demonstrated in the picture/symbol instructions	Summary sheet
6	follow the sequence of pictures/symbols in order to make the chosen product	Summary sheet
7	carry out at least two simple cooking processes, eg pouring, mixing, spreading, chopping	Summary sheet
