1 | fill appropriate jugs with a correct amount of cleaning solution for the steam wand | Summary sheet |
2 | place the steam wand/s in a jug and turn on | Summary sheet |
3 | switch off the steam and leave the wands to soak for approximately 10 minutes | Summary sheet |
4 | purge the group heads and, using a brush, scrub the group head filter and edges | Summary sheet |
5 | replace the portafilter basket with a blank | Summary sheet |
6 | fill the blank carefully with two teaspoons of prescribed cleaning powder | Summary sheet |
7 | attach the portafilter to the group head and turn the water on for 10 to 15 seconds | Summary sheet |
8 | switch off the water and let the portafilter sit for 20 seconds | Summary sheet |
9 | detach the portafilter carefully and rinse the blank, reattach and repeat outcomes 7-9 until the water is clean | Summary sheet |
