2	describe orally what has happened in the novel as chapters are read, and predict what might happen next	Summary sheet
3	make a character study of at least one main charcter in the novel	Student completed work
4	depict at least two important events from the novel through illustrations	Student completed work
5	write a chapter or story or diary based on the novel	Student completed work
shown knowledge of
6	the setting, language and plot of the novel	Summary sheet
7	at least two other ways in which the novel can be presented, eg video or tape recording.	Summary sheet
