In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
experienced
1	taking part in a minimum of six visits to a city farm	Summary sheet
demonstrated the ability to
2	take at least three photographs of the animals or plants on the farm	Summary sheet
3	choose one of the three plants/animals he/she has photographed and partake in a discussion on the chosen plant/animal from the farm	Summary sheet
4	take part in seminars presented by one of the educators at the farm and make contributions through asking and answering questions	Summary sheet
5	dig and turn soil to sow crops, ie lettuce, broccoli, courgettes, carrots and maintain the plot by weeding and watering	Summary sheet
6	groom goats and tend to other stock, ie feeding horses, cows and pigs	Summary sheet
7	show a respectful and conscientious approach to the working environment and adapt to the expectations of the farm manager re safety, use of tools and hygiene.	Summary sheet
