In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	locate hydraulic fluid specification and volume in the vehicles manual	Summary sheet
2	determine the location of all hydraulic reservoirs and bleed points on the vehicle	Summary sheet
3	remove a road wheel and support the vehicle on a suitable stand safely	Summary sheet
4	bleed at least one reservoir full of fluid through the bleed valve effectively checking for included air and avoiding inclusion of air at the reservoir	Summary sheet
5	replace the road wheel and remove the support stand safely	Summary sheet
shown knowledge of
6	the affect of hydraulic fluid on paintwork and external brake components eg pads	Student completed work
7	at least two reasons why hydraulic fluid should be periodically replaced	Student completed work
8	at least one reason why entrained air reduces the efficiency of hydraulic systems.	Student completed work
