In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	connect an on-board diagnostic (OBD) scanner to retrieve any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)	Summary sheet
2	record and interpret any fault codes to identify the key potential issues with the engine, transmission or emissions systems	Summary sheet
3	clear the old codes and check if any reappear after the repairs or further driving.	Summary sheet
