In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	say at least two names of the letters of the alphabet	Summary sheet
2	follow a set of single-step instructions	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
3	make at least two requests and ask at least two straightforward questions using the appropriate terms and registers	Summary sheet
4	read at least two simple sentences containing one clause	Summary sheet
5	correctly read at least three words from the English Entry Level 1 list	Summary sheet
6	write the letters of the alphabet in sequence in both upper and lower case.	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
