2 | grind or sand any damage on the alloy, including filling in any holes and re-sanding if required | Summary sheet |
3 | key and flatten the alloy, sanding to enhance the new paint taking to the surface | Summary sheet |
4 | apply masking tape around the tyre to protect it before spraying | Summary sheet |
5 | re-clean the alloy and apply three layers of primer to it, leaving the appropriate drying time between each coat of primer | Summary sheet |
6 | flatten out the primer, re-sanding if required | Summary sheet |
7 | re-clean the surface to prepare it for painting, ensure there is no dust on the wheel to prepare it for lacquering, then apply three coats of lacquer to the alloy | Summary sheet |
8 | use the infrared drying system to finish the wheel | Summary sheet |
9 | remove the masking tape, then clean and polish the alloy | Summary sheet |
10 | display the finished alloy. | Summary sheet |
