In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	listen to and watch at least three film clips that have different moods and describe the music, including the instrumentation, texture, dynamics and tempo	Student completed work
2	explore at least four different instrument sounds and describe the timbre	Student completed work
3	choose a short film clip which depicts a specific mood or theme	Summary sheet
4	create a time line of the important events in the chosen film clip	Student completed work
5	choose up to 10 instruments or sounds that will represent the mood or theme and the main events of the chosen film	Student completed work and/or summary sheet
6	use appropriate technology, eg GarageBand, ThumbJam or Movie Maker, to create a soundtrack to the film that includes the chosen instruments and fits with the timeline	Student completed work
7	synchronise the film clip and soundtrack together	Summary sheet
8	show the film and music to an audience and self and peer assess.	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
