In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	design a Christmas cake of their own choice using fondant icing	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
2	preheat the oven and prepare a cake tin by lining and greasing	Summary sheet
3	measure and weigh the ingredients	Summary sheet
4	mix the ingredients together following their recipe, then put them into their prepared cake tin and cook	Summary sheet
5	cover their cake with marzipan	Summary sheet
6	cover their cake with fondant	Summary sheet
7	decorate their cake following their chosen design.	Summary sheet
