In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	engage with at least two different fiction extracts and sensory stories, with support	Summary sheet
2	explore at least two sensory stories from popular, age-appropriate fiction, eg a graphic novel	Summary sheet
3	create their own fictional character using symbols and/or photographs to support	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
4	develop a setting for a story using symbols and/or photographs to support	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
5	make at least two meaningful marks related to a story, eg a wanted poster, the drawing of a character	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
6	select or gather props and resources for the sensory story	Summary sheet
7	create a simple sensory story sequence, with support.	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
