In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
shown knowledge of
1	active listening skills through completing a 500-1000 word summary of independent research into the topic, and delivering a five minute presentation on this to a wider audience	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
demonstrated the ability to
2	support at least two younger peers through a minimum of 15 hours of voluntary work in a school setting	Summary sheet
3	apply their understanding of active listening and peer mentoring skills through undertaking a sustained period of volunteering in their school community	Summary sheet
demonstrated the ability to
4	undertaking at least two hours of formal training in peer mentoring principles and approaches.	Summary sheet
