In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	research and describe at least three supplies that might need to be delivered to a human colony on a foreign planet	Student completed work
2	investigate and describe current lander spacecraft technology, eg a supply delivery to the International Space Station (ISS), a lunar module	Student completed work
3	design and make their own protective lander using a set of craft supplies	Summary sheet
4	test their lander from a height of one, two and three metres by protecting a chosen load, eg an egg that can be broken, soft clay that can be dented	Summary sheet
5	record the results of at least one of their investigations and discuss how their lander performed	Student completed work
6	evaluate at least two improvements which could be made to their design.	Student completed work
