1	identify that the hair is free from products and is dry and detangled	Summary sheet
2	select the correct key tools and equipment, eg tail comb, hair clamps, tint brush, tint bowl, colouring mesh, colouring products	Summary sheet
3	select the correct personal protective equipment	Summary sheet
4	divide the hair into six sections	Summary sheet
5	take a 1cm section of hair, starting at the nape of the neck	Summary sheet
6	weave through the section of hair with a tail comb	Summary sheet
7	place the colouring mesh under the woven hair	Summary sheet
8	apply a colouring product with a tint brush to the hair, starting at the root and working down to the ends	Summary sheet
9	secure the colouring mesh by folding in half and pressing the sides together.	Summary sheet
