In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
shown knowledge of
1	what the film speed or ISO (international organisation for standardisation) sensitivity is and how it works within a particular camera	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
2	how increasing film speed or ISO sensitivity allows for faster shutter speeds or shooting in darker environments, but at the cost of increased grain and noise	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
demonstrated the ability to
3	take at least three similar photos with varying film speeds or ISO sensitivities, as appropriate to the camera being used, to allow for a wider range of shutter speeds and/or apertures.	Summary sheet
