121702 PHOTOGRAPHY: COMPARING COLOUR AND BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOS

In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	find at least five colour photos that the student likes, for different reasons, and explain why they like them, eg lots of bright colours, an interesting subject	Summary sheet
2	convert the photos from colour to black and white using an appropriate method, eg a digital photo editing tool, photocopier	Summary sheet
3	comment on each of the converted black and white photos to say how they differ from the colour version and reasons why they like or dislike like them, eg a colourful sunset might be uninteresting in black and white	Summary sheet
4	find at least two photos similar to the photos that they didn't like but without the issues they identified.	Summary sheet
