3correctly and safely set up a tripod on uneven ground, requiring all three legs to be set to different lengths, including adjusting the legs until the central shaft is vertical Summary sheet

5correctly and safely attach the mounting plate (with the camera) to the tripodSummary sheet
6safely check the balance of the tripod and camera to ensure it is stable Summary sheet
