1	describe at least two ways that pop culture and/or the media influences people's perception of animals	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
2	watch a popular movie featuring animal and human interaction, taking notes about important scenes that show the animal out of context, eg Jaws, The Meg, Hitchcock's The Birds	Student completed work
3	choose three still shots from the film that show the animal in a scientifically inaccurate way and describe those errors	Student completed work
4	illustrate the real-life animal in the style of a nature journal with the key features labelled to show their understanding of the animal in zoological terms	Student completed work
5	write a critical analysis of how the film causes the animal to be gravely misunderstood due to the depictions shown.	Student completed work
