In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	identify the main signs that a ewe is ready to lamb	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
2	catch the ewe that is ready to lamb, with support if necessary	Summary sheet
3	help the ewe to lamb, with assistance to pull the lamb out if necessary	Summary sheet
4	ensure the new lamb is alive and breathing once it has been delivered	Summary sheet
5	move the ewe and new lamb to a pen.	Summary sheet
