2 | decide on a method to create a tie-dye pattern, using elastic bands only or glass marbles and elastic bands | Summary sheet |
3 | attach elastic bands to the fabric to create the design for the tie-dye | Summary sheet |
4 | collect buddleja flowers from the garden and prepare the dye vat | Summary sheet |
5 | insert the fabric into the dye vat and leaving it for up to three hours, agitating occasionally | Summary sheet |
6 | remove the fabric from the dye vat, rinse it and hang it to dry | Summary sheet |
