In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	meet and greet clients on at least one occasion	Summary sheet
2	shampoo, condition and towel dry at least one client’s hair	Summary sheet
3	style a client’s hair using at least one appropriate technique, eg blow drying, straightening, curling	Summary sheet
4	communicate and build a professional relationship with clients, eg topical conversation and offering/making a drink, on at least one occasion	Summary sheet
5	remove the hair colour and highlights from at least one client’s hair	Summary sheet
6	clean the workstations using the appropriate equipment in preparation for the next client on at least one occasion	Summary sheet
7	maintain and clean the salon, eg clean the mirrors, basins, toilets and sweep/mop the floors on at least one occasion	Summary sheet
