In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	look at three Amate paintings online	Summary sheet
2	discuss at least two subjects they have noticed in the paintings	Summary sheet
3	scrunch up brown craft paper or a paper bag several times then lay it out flat	Summary sheet
4	discuss people, places, things in their lives that they value	Summary sheet
5	choose a subject, from what they have just discussed, to paint	Summary sheet
6	draw the subject in a simple form, using a pencil	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
7	give the shapes bold outlines using a black marker pen	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
8	add background details	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
9	paint the image using bold colours	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
10	discuss their painting with another person.	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
