In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	identify and name at least three major European flags and associate them with their respective countries	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
2	recognise and replicate the colours of at least three major Asian flags	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
3	locate at least two major countries on a map of North America and match them with their corresponding flags	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
4	recall and identify flags of at least three South American countries	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
5	assemble puzzle pieces to accurately recreate the flags of at least two African nations	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
shown knowledge of
6	at least two unique features of the Australian flag and demonstrate understanding by crafting a version of the flag	Student completed work
demonstrated the ability to
7	recognise at least two flags based on dominant colours	Summary sheet
8	recognise and name at least three common symbols found in flags and incorporate them into a personal flag design.	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
