6hold the animal firmly but calmly against a secure barrierSummary sheet
7insert an ear tag onto the taggerSummary sheet
8position the tagger over the ear, allowing for ear growth and avoiding veinsSummary sheet
9close and release the tagger, checking that the tag has pierced through the ear and has clamped closed.Summary sheet
