In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	study a given drawing of the bird box they are going to make	Summary sheet
2	collect the wood and appropriate tools to be used	Summary sheet
3	measure and mark out the top, base, front back and side pieces	Summary sheet
4	accurately cut the pieces with a saw	Summary sheet
5	sand all the pieces using sandpaper	Summary sheet
6	use the electric drill and a large drill bit to make the hole for the bird	Summary sheet
7	use clamps to clamp the pieces together	Summary sheet
8	drill pilot holes and countersink using the manual hand drill	Summary sheet
9	use the screwdriver and screws to fix the pieces together	Summary sheet
10	use the drill to make four holes in the base for drainage	Summary sheet
11	sand using sandpaper to get a smooth finish	Summary sheet
