In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	study a given drawing of the bird feeder they are going to make	Summary sheet
2	collect the wood and appropriate tools to be used	Summary sheet
3	measure and mark out the back, base and four sides for the feeder	Summary sheet
4	accurately cut the pieces with a saw	Summary sheet
5	work out how the pieces all fit together and sand all pieces	Summary sheet
6	use clamps to clamp the pieces together	Summary sheet
7	drill pilot holes and countersink using the manual hand drill	Summary sheet
8	use the screwdriver and screws to fix the pieces together	Summary sheet
