In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have

1give assistance with academic tutoring in the home language for 60 minutes per week over a period of 12 weeksSummary sheet
2establish a positive rapport with the tutee(s) through regular contact, encouragement and discussionsSummary sheet
3assess the learning needs of the tutee(s) and research and analyse learning resources to help prepare them for academic examinationSummary sheet and/or student completed work
4develop at least one new learning resource in the home language adapted to the learning needs of the tutee(s)Student completed work
