In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	research and collect ideas on a chosen topic or brief	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
2	produce an idea board on the chosen topic or brief	Student completed work and/or photograph(s)
3	experiment with at least two fabric dyes, eg natural, acrylic paint	Summary sheet
4	practise joining fabrice with at least one technique, eg simple stitch, glue	Summary sheet
5	manipulate fabric in at least two ways, eg twisting, cutting, layering, pleating	Summary sheet
6	plan and produce a final piece of fabric art	Student completed work and/or photograph(s)
shown knowledge of
7	at least one example of textile art or an artist who works with textiles.	Summary sheet
