In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	use six figure grid references to locate specific points on a given map	Summary sheet
2	learn and tie two knots, eg clove hitch and square lashing	Summary sheet
3	erect a temporary shelter using the knots and a tarpaulin	Summary sheet and/or photograph(s)
4	use a minimum of two different methods to start a fire, eg bow drill, flint and steel	Summary sheet
5	source appropriate wood to start a fire and cook a snack, eg a smore	Summary sheet
6	whittle a bow and arrow using knife skills	Summary sheet
