In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	operate a vinyl turntable	Summary sheet
2	connect the correct cables to link the turntable to an audio interface	Summary sheet
3	launch Logic Pro and set up a new stereo audio recording track	Summary sheet
4	cue up the track to be sampled on the vinyl record	Summary sheet
5	record the audio input on Logic Pro	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
6	make suitable edits, eg cut, trim, apply fade-in and fade-out, to the sampled audio	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
shown knowledge of
7	how to sample audio from a vinyl record and use it within a new composition or song.	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
