| 2 | turn on the computer and open appropriate desktop publishing software, eg Microsoft Publisher | Summary sheet |
| 3 | open the 'mug' template, import their image and scale it to the right size | Summary sheet |
| 4 | rotate the image horizontally so that it is the wrong way round | Summary sheet |
| 5 | select the appropriate printing properties and then print the image using the correct printer | Summary sheet |
| 6 | cut out the design and pieces of heat proof tape | Summary sheet |
| 7 | use the heat proof tape to stick the image onto the mug | Summary sheet |
| 8 | slide the mug into the mug press when it reaches temperature | Summary sheet |
| 9 | pull the handle of the heat press towards them to lock it in place | Summary sheet |
| 10 | carefully remove the mug when the mug press beeps | Summary sheet |
