4start work using either the magic ring or chain-and-slip-stitch-to-join technique for a Granny square piece or a foundation chain for straight crochet workSummary sheet
5continue working in rounds or rows to create separate pieces, eg arms, back and front, to combine into a completed shapeSummary sheet
6check that the pieces lie flat and are squareSummary sheet
7sew in the ends of the smaller pieces and sew or crochet them together to create the chosen shapeSummary sheet
