1	how different sized crochet hooks relate to the choice of wool and size of stitch	Summary sheet
demonstrated the ability to
2	choose an appropriate crochet hook and wool	Summary sheet
3	start work using a chain and count the stitches in their chain	Summary sheet
4	work a foundation row with a stitch into each loop in the chain	Summary sheet
5	continue working in rows to complete a square with sides that are the same length as the initial chain	Summary sheet
6	check that the work lies flat and is square in shape	Summary sheet
7	sew in the ends to complete and neaten the square.	Student completed work and/or photograph(s)
