1	check the outside of the vehicle for leaks or damage	Summary sheet
2	check all tyres for bulges in the tyre wall and tread depth	Summary sheet
3	open the bonnet and check fluid levels for the coolant, break fluid, power steering, oil and windscreen washer	Summary sheet
4	check the seatbelts, fire extinguisher and first aid kit are present and working	Summary sheet
5	check the headlights, indicators, break lights and reverse light with adult support	Summary sheet
6	complete a written checklist.	Student completed work
