In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	find a page with words on it, eg in a magazine, newspaper, old book	Summary sheet
2	skim read the page and find a word or theme that they like	Summary sheet
3	write down all the words they like on the page, in order, on a separate piece of paper	Summary sheet
4	read through the words that have been written down and cross out any that will not be used in the final poem	Summary sheet
5	use a black marker to draw a box around the words they are keeping on the original page	Summary sheet
6	read through the final poem and draw at least two sketches in relation to the theme on the page	Summary sheet
7	using a black marker, black out any words not included in the final poem or in one of the sketches	Summary sheet
8	present the completed artwork.	Student completed work and/or photograph(s)
