In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	produce at least two designs explaining the general concept, size and features of the table	Student completed work
2	select and prepare timber materials for the table top	Summary sheet
3	mark out and cut the timber materials for the table top to size	Summary sheet
4	glue and cramp the timber materials for the table top	Summary sheet
5	use abrasives to prepare the wooden top to the required standard	Summary sheet
6	select and prepare metal materials for the table legs	Summary sheet
7	measure, cut, bend, and weld the metal to form the legs as required	Summary sheet
8	refine the metal legs with abrasives and a suitable finish	Summary sheet
9	use computer aided design (CAD) to develop a suitable design for the top of the table	Summary sheet
10	use computer aided manufacturing (CAM) to generate a pattern or design in the table top	Summary sheet
11	assemble the table components	Summary sheet
12	photograph and evaluate the finished outcome.	Summary sheet and/or photograph(s)
