In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
demonstrated the ability to
1	produce at least two designs explaining the general concept, size and features of the product	Student completed work
2	select and prepare metal materials appropriate for the item being manufactured	Summary sheet
3	make the templates as required	Summary sheet and/or photograph(s)
4	cut the metal using a plasma cutter, nibbler or shears	Summary sheet
5	measure, bend, and weld the metal as required, using safe working methods	Summary sheet
6	photograph the finished item and evaluate it.	Summary sheet and/or photograph(s)
