In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
shown knowledge of
1	the basic functions of BandLab, including track creation, instrument selection, transport, mixer, loop and audio input windows	Summary sheet
2	at least two basic automation tools, including volume and panning	Summary sheet
demonstrated the ability to
3	select at least two samples and instruments and add them to the mix editor	Summary sheet
4	use a step sequencer to create four different drum kit patterns including fills	Summary sheet
5	create a short vocal rap, performing and recording it to a pre-recorded backing track	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
6	find a backing track on the internet, convert and download it as an MP3 and then import it into BandLab	Summary sheet
7	either play an instrument or sing along to the backing track and record the audio into BandLab	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
8	sync, mix and balance the audio track with the backing track	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
experienced
