In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed
shown knowledge of

2	at least two different rappers or lyricists and their associated flows and techniques	Summary sheet
demonstrated the ability to
3	write a paragraph giving key information on an artist of their choice	Student completed work
4	create an eight-bar poem or verse that contains an example of both a simile and a metaphor	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
5	write a 32-bar poem or verse using at least two different creative writing techniques	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
6	record or perform a 32-bar poem or verse that introduces a difference in vocal performance, eg change of flow or cadence, harmony attempt, ad-libs	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
7	write a song that is a minimum of two minutes long and that conveys a strong message or story of their choice	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
