In successfully completing this unit, the Learner will have		Evidence needed

1	engage in the session introduction and understand the aims of the Positive Choices Programme	Summary sheet

3	identify their pre-intervention thinking skills with support from staff and through completion of an 'about me' worksheet	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
4	explore and summarise the circumstances of their offence utilising a 'my offence summary' worksheet as a guide	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
5	further explore their offence, eg by using a given worksheet to identify the triggers and factors surrounding their offence	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
6	use a given worksheet to identify and discuss the immediate consequences of their offence and its level of impact	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
7	reflect on the consequences of the offence, using a key to rank given impact statements	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
8	identify how further offending can impact on their life, focusing on five key areas for discussion and exploration	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
9	through discussion and exploration with staff, identify at least two protective factors or shields they can use to help prevent further offending	Summary sheet and/or student completed work
